About Eltorama
Eltorama is a curated collection of themed movie lists — from classics and cult favorites to hidden gems and contemporary masterpieces. Each list is built around a single idea: a mood, an era, a subgenre, or a theme worth exploring in depth. No algorithms, no trending feeds — just deliberate, human-driven selections.
Completely free. No subscriptions, no paywalls, no ads. If you enjoy the site and want to support it, you can buy me a coffee — but there's no obligation whatsoever.
Eltorama is a personal project maintained by one person — a developer with a deep love of cinema and too many unfinished watchlists. New lists are added regularly.
Regularly — the goal is at least a few new lists per week. Subscribe to the newsletter to get notified the moment a new list drops.
The Lists
Every list starts with a concept specific enough to mean something. AI assistance helps surface films and write first drafts; every list is then reviewed and edited by a human who has actually watched the films and cares about the theme. The final selection and the reasons for each film are always human-approved.
Ratings shown on movie cards are IMDb ratings fetched at the time the list was published. They may not reflect the very latest IMDb score — ratings on long-standing films shift slowly, so the difference is usually negligible.
