Synopsis
The movie 'Adaptation.' follows the story of neurotic screenwriter Charlie Kaufman, who is tasked with adapting 'The Orchid Thief' into a screenplay. However, he faces immense difficulty in the process, battling his own insecurities, lagging self-esteem, and the eccentricities of the book's author. As a result, he ends up writing himself into the script in this metafictional film.
