Synopsis

Set in Paris, 'An American in Paris' is a romantic musical film about an ex-GI, Jerry Mulligan, who stays back after the war to become a painter and falls in love with a young dancer, Lise. The film is known for its remarkable dance sequences and beautiful settings, winning six Academy Awards including Best Picture in 1952.
