Bottle Rocket

Bottle Rocket follows Dignan, Anthony, and Bob, three aimless young friends in Texas who embark on a series of poorly planned heists inspired by Dignan's elaborate criminal ambitions. Directed by Wes Anderson and co-written with Owen Wilson, the film blends deadpan humor with unexpected warmth and heart. Though a box office disappointment upon release, it has since earned a devoted cult following and is celebrated as the origin of Anderson's distinctive cinematic style.
