Synopsis
Brooklyn follows Eilis Lacey, a young Irish woman who emigrates to 1950s New York, where she finds work, community, and unexpected love with an Italian-American man named Tony. When a family tragedy forces her to return to Ireland, she is torn between her old life and the new one she has built across the ocean. The film is a tender and beautifully crafted story about identity, home, and the courage required to choose your own path.
