Synopsis
Ex Machina follows Caleb, a young programmer invited to administer the Turing test to Ava, a strikingly humanoid AI created by his reclusive tech-genius employer Nathan. As sessions with Ava grow increasingly complex and intimate, Caleb begins questioning who is truly being tested and whether Ava's emotions are genuine. The film is a tense, cerebral thriller that explores themes of artificial intelligence, gender, power, and what it truly means to be conscious.
