Synopsis

When big-city teen Ren McCormack moves to a small midwestern town, he's in for a culture shock. The conservative community has banned both dancing and rock music, a decision Ren simply can't abide by. Armed with rebellious spirit and smooth moves, Ren sets out to shake up the status quo, challenge the town's restrictive laws, and in the process, win the heart of the preacher's daughter. 'Footloose' is an energetic and spirited film that combines drama, music, and dance to paint a picture of youthful rebellion and the power of self-expression.
