Synopsis

In 'From Dusk Till Dawn' (1996), brothers Seth and Richard Gecko, portrayed by George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino respectively, find themselves trapped in a bar full of vampires after a failed bank robbery. As they fight for their lives, they must also deal with the law enforcement hot on their trail.

Why Watch It
A audacious blend of crime thriller and horror-comedy that careens wildly between tense character drama and gloriously absurd vampire carnage. Rodriguez's kinetic direction and a game cast—Tarantino and Clooney as the criminal leads, Juliette Lewis as a preacher's daughter—keeps the tonal whiplash exhilarating rather than jarring.
