Synopsis
Greenberg follows Roger Greenberg, a fortysomething New Yorker recovering from a mental breakdown, who house-sits his brother's Los Angeles home and slowly develops a complicated relationship with his brother's assistant, Florence. The film is a quiet, introspective character study exploring regret, missed opportunities, and the difficulty of human connection. Director Noah Baumbach crafts an uncomfortably honest portrait of a man struggling to reconcile who he is with who he once hoped to become.
