Synopsis

Mike Judge\'s 2006 satire was so badly buried by its studio that Judge spent a decade describing the experience as worse than Office Space. Then the 2010s happened, and the film\'s prediction of advertising-saturated, science-illiterate populism became a meme — and then a way of describing the news.

Did You Know?
  • Fox dumped the film into 130 theaters without a single review screening.
  • Mike Judge spent years describing the studio reaction as worse than Office Space.
  • The film's "President Camacho" is now a frequent meme reference.
  • The Brawndo plot was inspired by real corporate sponsorship of public schools.
  • Critics retroactively rehabilitated it after the 2016 US election.
Iconic Quotes
  • "Brawndo's got what plants crave!"
  • "I like money."
  • "It's got electrolytes."
