Synopsis

Local Hero follows Mac, a Houston-based oil company representative sent to a remote Scottish coastal village to negotiate its purchase for a new refinery. As Mac immerses himself in the quirky, warm community, he begins questioning his own corporate ambitions and materialistic lifestyle.
