Synopsis
Look Back in Anger follows Jimmy Porter, a disillusioned and volatile young man from a working-class background who takes out his frustrations on his upper-class wife Alison and those around him. Richard Burton portrays Jimmy with fierce intensity, capturing the restless anger of a generation that felt betrayed by postwar British society. The film remains a powerful portrait of class resentment, failed idealism, and destructive relationships.
