Noises Off...

Noises Off follows a ragtag theater company as they stumble through rehearsals and performances of a terrible play called Nothing On, with personal relationships and professional tensions creating spectacular onstage disasters. Director Peter Bogdanovich assembles an all-star ensemble including Michael Caine, Carol Burnett, and John Ritter, capturing both the magic and misery of live theater. The film cleverly shifts perspective from the front of the stage to the chaotic backstage world, revealing the hilarious human drama hidden behind the curtain.

• Based on Michael Frayn's beloved 1982 hit stage play.
• Film features three acts mirroring the play's structure.
• Carol Burnett performed many of her own physical stunts.
• Marty Kaplan adapted the screenplay from Frayn's original work.
• Peter Bogdanovich directed this ensemble comedy chaos masterpiece.

• Nothing is funnier than unhappiness, I grant you that.
• If we can't get this right, we'll never get it right.
• Places, everyone! This is what we've been rehearsing for!
• I don't know where I am or who I am.
• The show must go on, even when it really shouldn't.
