Synopsis
Set in post-Civil War Spain in 1944, Pan's Labyrinth follows young Ofelia, who retreats into a dangerous magical fantasy world to escape her brutal stepfather and grim reality. Directed by Guillermo del Toro, the film masterfully blends dark fairy tale wonder with the horrors of fascist Spain.
