Synopsis
Past Lives follows Nora and Hae Sung, childhood sweethearts in Seoul who lose touch when Nora emigrates to Canada. Decades later, they reconnect online and eventually reunite in New York, where Nora is now married, forcing them to confront unresolved feelings and the lives they might have lived. The film is a tender, bittersweet meditation on identity, belonging, destiny, and the roads not taken.
