Roxanne

Roxanne (1987) is a heartwarming romantic comedy starring Steve Martin as C.D. Bales, a witty and lovable fire chief whose oversized nose makes him insecure about romance. When he falls for the beautiful astronomer Roxanne, played by Daryl Hannah, he agrees to ghostwrite love letters for a handsome but inarticulate colleague who has caught her eye. The film blends slapstick humor, sharp wit, and genuine emotional depth into a modern and charming reimagining of the classic Cyrano de Bergerac story.
