Short Circuit

Short Circuit (1986) follows NOVA Robot Number 5, a military prototype who is struck by lightning and suddenly develops consciousness, curiosity, and a love of life. Escaping the military facility, he befriends Stephanie Speck, an animal lover who helps him understand humanity. The film blends comedy, heart, and sci-fi themes as Number 5 fights to prove he is a living being rather than a machine to be reprogrammed.
