Synopsis
Sinister follows true crime writer Ellison Oswalt, who moves his family into the former home of a murdered family to research his next book. After discovering a box of haunting Super 8 home movies depicting gruesome murders across decades, he uncovers the terrifying presence of a ancient demonic entity named Bughuul who preys on children. As the supernatural forces close in, Ellison realizes his obsession with fame may have doomed his entire family.
