Synopsis
Stardust Memories follows Sandy Bates, a celebrated filmmaker who grows weary of public adoration and longs to create more serious, meaningful work. Through a series of memories, fantasies, and encounters with obsessive fans, Allen crafts a deeply personal meditation on art, mortality, and the burden of fame. The film is both a loving homage to Fellini and a boldly self-critical examination of the artist's relationship with his audience.
