Synopsis

In John Huston's classic film 'The African Queen', a grizzled boat captain, Charlie Allnut (Humphrey Bogart), and a straight-laced missionary, Rose Sayer (Katharine Hepburn), find themselves navigating down a perilous African river during World War I. As they battle rapids, German gunboats and each other, they also find a love they never expected.
