Synopsis

Why Watch It
Swashbuckling revenge fantasy that transforms Alexandre Dumas's epic into pure escapist spectacle, complete with sword fights, hidden treasure, and a protagonist whose cold cunning makes his elaborate schemes irresistible. Guy Pearce's coiled intensity and Jim Caviezel's charismatic magnetism elevate what could've been standard adventure fare into something genuinely gripping. Reynolds orchestrates the plot mechanics with flair, making each calculated twist satisfying rather than melodramatic.
