Synopsis

When her live-in boyfriend abandons her and her young daughter, Paula McFadden is forced to share her New York apartment with Elliott Garfield, an eccentric Chicago actor who has already paid for the sublet. Despite their rocky start and clashing personalities, the two gradually fall in love in this charming Neil Simon romantic comedy.
