Synopsis

Set in the fictional Republic of Zubrowka, The Grand Budapest Hotel follows the eccentric and charming concierge Monsieur Gustave H. and his devoted lobby boy Zero as they become entangled in a murder mystery, a stolen Renaissance painting, and a massive inheritance battle. Directed by Wes Anderson, the film is a visually stunning, comedic adventure told through a series of nested narratives spanning decades. With an all-star ensemble cast and Anderson's signature symmetrical aesthetic, the film is both a love letter to old European elegance and a meditation on the passage of time.
