Synopsis
The Great Escape is a 1963 film based on the true story of a daring mass escape from a World War II POW camp. The movie follows a group of Allied soldiers who, refusing to live out the rest of the war in captivity, devise an elaborate plan to tunnel out of the German camp and make their way to freedom.
