Synopsis
The Grudge follows Karen Davis, an American exchange student working as a nurse in Tokyo, who discovers a mysterious curse linked to a haunted house where a series of gruesome murders occurred. The vengeful spirit of a woman killed in rage returns to claim anyone who enters the home, spreading the curse like a deadly contagion. Directed by Takashi Shimizu, the film blends Japanese and American horror traditions into a terrifying supernatural mystery.
