Synopsis

Titane follows Alexia, a dancer with a titanium plate in her skull who embarks on a violent and sexually charged journey after developing an unusual connection with cars. Fleeing her past, she disguises herself as a missing boy and is taken in by a grieving fire captain who refuses to question her identity. Director Julia Ducournau crafts a visceral, boundary-pushing exploration of gender, identity, and the meaning of family.
