Synopsis
Park Chan-wook's most romantic film is also one of his most formally controlled — a detective story in which the suspense is built almost entirely out of looking. The film owes more to Vertigo than to Park's own Vengeance Trilogy, and the final shot leaves a viewer breathless in a way revenge never quite did.
